Employee Volunteerism

AT&T employees build strong, connected, and thriving communities. We seek to unleash their human capabilities to create a healthy business environment and listen to and support the communities in which we operate. AT&T's Veteran Employee Group (EG) is more than 35 years old and serves more than 10,000 members.

If you are an AT&T employee and would like to become a member of our EG, please email our Director of Membership - William Widby (

Community Service is part of AT&T's roots and is ingrained in our culture, and for more than 100 years, we have been donating our time and talents.

Each year, our employees and retirees, including the AT&T Pioneers and our Employee Resource Groups, take time to enhance our local schools, cities, parks and much more.

In 2014, our employees and retirees volunteered more than 5.6 million hours of time in community outreach activities. Within AT&T, we had 4,512 employees earn the President's Volunteer Service Award. Each President's Volunteer Service Award recipient volunteered a minimum of 100 hours.
